Navy Pier // Lace & Booties

Hello sunshines! Hope everyone is enjoying these warm fall days we’re having! I know I am! This past weekend we were running our 20 miler on Sunday, so we snoozed until 9 AM and then decided to be touristy and explore Navy Pier. I haven’t been to Navy Pier yet this year and they just replaced the famous ferris wheel there not too long ago. The view there is also AHMAZING – you get unobstructed views of the Chicago skyline from the south to the north, so beautiful! Since it was like 80 degrees already around 10 AM, I was seriously debating between a flowy summer dress and sandals or something that was a little bit more fall-y. I ultimately decided to go with the more fall-y option (booties mean fall, right?!) and went with a long-sleeved open back shirt, a blue lace skirt, and booties! I cannot wait to wear this blue lace skirt sometime in October when the weather gets cooler and I’ll pair it with my favorite chunky sweater :)! Also, I’ve owned this entire outfit for years now and they are still in fabulous condition! I am all for buying clothing that are good quality and will last. That being said, I did decide it was time to treat myself and buy myself a new pair of booties that are maybe in a maroon/burgundy color…check out what I’m eyeing below!
