I can’t believe how hectic it has been lately – it’s been birthdays & traveling on the weekends for weddings for Mr. Photographer (aka boo) and I. On today’s post, I’m sharing my brief experience in Denver, CO! We were in Denver this past long weekend for a good friend’s wedding (mazels J & S!). We flew in on Friday afternoon and because the boo was in the wedding party and had many groomsmen duties, I targeted one specific location for a photo shoot on Friday afternoon before the celebrations began. We will most certainly be back to Colorado another time to explore Boulder, Breckenridge, and Vail!
The location I knew I had to check out was the RiNo (River North) Art District. There are amazing pieces of street art everywhere in that area, cool art galleries, and many many microbreweries. My googling led me to Larimer Street and it was fabulous! I’m obsessed with street art (pictures below) and all the colors so this was the perfect photo shoot opportunity. Post shoot, I rewarded Mr. Photographer with some local beers at Our Mutual Friend Brewing Co. which was also on Larimer Street. Delicious!
What I’m wearing is a flowy lavender dress from Free People with my gladiator sandals – this weekend was my last chance at a real summer outfit (so sad, summer is my favorite time of year). While it was only 80’s in Denver, the sun was surprisingly hot…no humidity though, so that was wonderful! This flowy dress was the perfect combat for the hot Denver sun – super thin and breathable.
Dress: Free People (Sold out but here are some on sale summer dresses that I am eyeing – Free People, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, & one more from Anthropologie) // Bag: Kate Spade (Wine color is sold out, but black & beige here)
